'A Day in the Light of Smeaton's Tower'
Smeaton's Tower was dismantled and moved on to Plymouth Hoe in 1884 where it now stands as a monument to John Smeaton's innovative engineering.
This blueprint-style work is made up of cross-sections of Smeaton's Tower as well as accurate depictions of the layout in the 18th century. Three lighthouse keepers would have lived in the tower at once and traces of their daily lives can be found throughout.
